Although in more the "Fairy Tale" category than the "Wish List for the Future" category, I think this Grown-Up Tree House is absolutely stunning . . . . it makes me think of Peter Pan. I'm pretty sure that, in the Disney cartoon version, the Lost Boys lived in a house inside a tree trunk/underground.
