Project Happiness
Apartment Therapy has some great ideas about how to make yourself happier, specifically happier in your home.  A few of them I currently already do on a daily basis - make my bed, display sentimental items around my home, etc.  That being said, there are a few on the list that sometimes fall by the wayside and, when left neglected, they create a subconscious anxiety within me. It is important to recognize how the small things create either stress or relief in your life. Check it out, even just to remind yourself.

I found these two images - "Pink Crush" & "Boston Christmas" - on Lemonade and Ivy, after first seeing them on Matchbook's Strikes our Fancy.

The Lonny Magazine Blog pointed me in the direction of the cheeky and whimsical calendar.

I love this room, posted on Apartment Therapy, as part of The Good Shepherd Charity Design Project.

Hodgepodge!

This kitchen just screams modern cool. See the rest of Anna and A.J.'s modern space by visiting Apartment Therapy here.

These shoes are from the small collaboration collection between TOMS and The Row. The pair in the image above are wool and cashmere.

This comic from The New Yorker made me laugh out loud!

Lastly, I love the Urban Diplomat. I also recommend picking up the September issue of Toronto Life. It is filled with interesting, well-written articles, specifically an article written by Jan Wong. She comments on the pressure university students are facing, and the resulting depression and suicides that are occurring. It is a must read.
