Snow Day!
Today was a snow day, and a complete school closure day at that. I've accomplished a lot of work and had time for a little bit of play. These things brightened my day today.

La La Lovely is a blog that I've recently started to visit, and this post was just too good to be true. Trina found this amongst a large collection of, her daughter, Ella's schoolwork. Adorable.
The cover art to Gwyneth Paltrow's cookbook, which comes out in April, was posed on Style Chronicle and I think it's lovely. It is simple and clean looking, the type reminds me of that which Martha Stewart frequently uses on her cookbooks. Plus the nautical stripe shirt is classic and timeless....much like Gwyneth herself.
Peonies in white and pink vases are simply delightful! Apartment Therapy can always be counted on for great ideas.

This page on Gwyneth Paltrow is a sample of what they do. Pulling inspiration from a fashion icon, and making styling choices accessible to the reader is so helpful. I always hate it when I see something that screams ME to me, and then I am rendered helpless, unable to find the designer or seller anywhere!
