Dreamy Home in London

This London townhouse featured on Remodelista totally took my breath away. To say that I have been obsessed with looking at the pictures would be an understatement. The focus on books in the home is so unapologetically prominent. The modern aesthetic does not mean a sacrifice of warmth or comfort, as so many modern homes tend to do. I can see myself living in this space, and it's no secret that my goal is to have a library in my future home one day. Enjoy!

Amy and David Butler's Modern Home - Apartment Therapy

I absolutely fell in love with this house on Apartment Therapy! The chandelier had me first, then the kitchen! What a great space. The home belongs to textile designer Amy Butler and her husband David. It is located in Ohio and was built in the '60s.

Weekend Fashion and Decor

After seeing this print called "An Empty Belly" on The Marion House Book, my mom bought us both a silk screened print, signed by the artist, for Christmas. She just had hers framed and below is the final product! Isn't it lovely?!

I had some wonderful professional news this week and I feel like a milestone reward is in order. These Loeffler Randall boots - on sale - are calling my name, although I'm sure I will take my time in deciding what, if anything, is appropriate to spoil myself with.

Next, I am apartment hunting, as my current apartment won't be available for renewal, and I love looking at these dreamy kitchens on The Marion House Book while I fantasize about a new place.

I love Blair Eadie's looks, and especially this one on the left. I am often drawn to leopard print flats and the red of her coat really pops.

Kitchen Breakfast Nooks

There is nothing that I enjoy more than a lazy weekend morning with a huge cup of hot coffee and the newspaper. With little indication that winter is leaving Ontario any time soon, I take solace in the fact that the cold does create a gravitational pull towards this cozy morning routine. I was fantasizing about breakfast nooks today. Above is an image from the kitchen of Katie Lee (formerly Joel) as featured in Domino magazine a few years ago.

This is one Domino image that I always come back to. I was going through this issue on the weekend and I still love this set up.

Little Sweet Things

Williams-Sonoma Striped Dish Towels. I absolutely love the pink and yellow ones. They are so bright and cheery, and they just seem to make me smile . . . . yes I will admit to smiling about dish towels.

This Stila gift set is so sweet. I am obsessed with Stila lipglosses, they give a great shot of colour and they smell great too. This set is available through Sephora.
