Loeffler Randall Fall Flats

I just browsed through the Pre-Fall 2012 Collection on Loeffler Randall's website and the flats above are by far my favourite. They are called the Natalie Cap-Toe Flat in Blush Dot Printed Haircalf.  Swoon.  I love a good polka dot, calf hair shoes, and neutral shades. The three combined make this shoe wearable, for work or play. Click here to see the rest of the pre-fall collection.

Weekend Fashion and Decor

After seeing this print called "An Empty Belly" on The Marion House Book, my mom bought us both a silk screened print, signed by the artist, for Christmas. She just had hers framed and below is the final product! Isn't it lovely?!

I had some wonderful professional news this week and I feel like a milestone reward is in order. These Loeffler Randall boots - on sale - are calling my name, although I'm sure I will take my time in deciding what, if anything, is appropriate to spoil myself with.

Next, I am apartment hunting, as my current apartment won't be available for renewal, and I love looking at these dreamy kitchens on The Marion House Book while I fantasize about a new place.

I love Blair Eadie's looks, and especially this one on the left. I am often drawn to leopard print flats and the red of her coat really pops.

Rays of Sunshine in my Sick Week

I was sick with a brutal cold last week. Here are a few things on the web that entertained me in my misery!

This gorgeous wedding in Italy (gasp that Valentino dress) posted on A Cup of Jo.

Erin's blog . . .fashion, decor, honest freak outs, red carpet reviews, and so so much more. I love clicking and reading every single day.

A terrific issue of Matchbook Magazine with Jessie Randall of Loeffler Randall.

The Matchbook Magazine blog The Daily Spark is oh so delightful!

To Boot

This holiday season I'm dreaming of gorgeous leather boots. My sister showed up at home yesterday in lovely J. Crew boots and now I'm obsessed with finding the perfect pair for myself. Here's the dream team:

Burberry Boots - Quilted Leather Riding Boots

Chloe Boots - Wooden Heeled Leather Boots

Loeffler Randall Boots - my favourite Classic Matilde boot in Tabacco

Sunday Mix

I am currently nursing a pretty horrible cold but these images from around the web cheered me up this morning.

Loeffler Randall shoes are probably my favourite - in theory of course since I have yet to own any. I love that they are always a slightly different take on a classic shape, but not too trendy to make the investment. I would do anything to own a pair of their Matilde boots.

This table setting in the Holiday issue of Lonny Magazine is so delightful. I would love to try this sometime!

Karlie Koss (top) and Sigrid Agren (bottom) featured on Vogue.com's "Model off Duty" slideshow. These casual chic outfits would look great in any setting, but I must say most things seem to be improved by Paris.

Fashion Therapy

I had a terrible day yesterday and woke up still moderately distressed by it. Not really stressed, but almost like a stress hangover. I needed to get my morning fix of something beautiful and pleasant before heading out the door to work. Here's what I came up with.

Abigail Spencer - featured on Vogue Daily as Who's That Girl - made her strong impression in (what I like to call) Clark Kent glasses. The company, Super , also makes sunglasses and I adore these:

Visit their website because the collection is beyond amazing. Pictured here are my favourites - Cheetah from the Ciccio Style Grouping.

Loeffler Randall Riley Zip Boots. Beyond cute and wildly justifiable in my opinion right now! Classic colour and style, but just enough edge to stand out from the crowd.

And last but not least, the smiling Coco Rocha always makes my day! She is just so lovely, captured here by Vogue Daily for their Models off the Runway slideshow.

Martha Stewart Weddings

Martha Stewart Weddings

The other day, I was a little grumpy after hurrying home to watch a major US Open tennis match, only to find that the coverage had been trumped by another program - weird networking issue. I phoned my mom so that she could fill me in on the match and she tried to lift my spirits by directing me to this album on Martha Stewart Weddings.

She knew I would love the bride's gown (by Oscar de la Renta) and the simple details the couple chose to make their day special. I absolutely love the location, the Fearrington House Country Inn. To classify it as picturesque is an understatement.

Beautiful lacey gown by Oscar de la Renta. It kind of reminds me of the gown he did for Jenna Bush a year or two ago.

In the accompanying article, Libby - the bride - mentions that they skipped the tradition of tossing the bouquet and the couple's first dance because neither of them particularly like to be in the spotlight. I think it's so perfect to choose which traditions suit your own personality and do away with ones that would be anything short of delightful.
