Loeffler Randall Fall Flats

I just browsed through the Pre-Fall 2012 Collection on Loeffler Randall's website and the flats above are by far my favourite. They are called the Natalie Cap-Toe Flat in Blush Dot Printed Haircalf.  Swoon.  I love a good polka dot, calf hair shoes, and neutral shades. The three combined make this shoe wearable, for work or play. Click here to see the rest of the pre-fall collection.

Same Room, Different Colours

This post on Apartment Therapy really caught my eye. How often do you play with the colours in your decor? Subtle, or not so subtle, changes to colour can really change the entire feeling of the room. I normally go for neutrals, but it was the punchy brights that alerted me to this post in the first place. The bright yellow reminds me of this favourite room.

I am beyond in love with Club Monaco's Spring Lookbook. One of my dearest fashion idols, my mother, emailed me this morning to tell me to check it out. Her favourite piece was the Lorel coat (above). Here are a few great outfits that struck my fancy! I couldn't get the photos from the Club Monaco website, so luckily Fashionology had them posted for me to snag!

Crystal Renn - Harper's Bazaar December 2010

The latest issue of Harper's Bazaar is worth the price at the newsstand simply for the 10 page photo spread of Crystal Renn modeling classic monochromatic pieces (from Resort 2011 collections). Disregarding completely the heated weight debate that surrounds Renn at any given time, she looks absolutely stunning and shows off the clothing beautifully. I watched Love Story last week with my cousin who had never seen it . . . so this has me thinking of timeless beauty like Ali McGraw.

Camel Coat Craze - Globe and Mail
This Saturday, the fantastic Style section of The Globe and Mail featured camel coats as the craze of the season, which they undoubtedly are. The lovely ladies of Smythe were consulted for the article, and Christie Smythe offered up the tale of when she first fell for the style - it was a Calvin Klein double breasted camel coat for those interested. In any case, I loved that the first coat featured was the Wilfred Cocoon Coat. I posted about that coat here. I think that the photos done by the Globe showcase it even better! What a gorgeous piece.

Who What Wear has an excellent post all about Neutral Sandals. When it comes to flats and sandals in the summer, I usually like to stick to basics - nudes, metallics, plain black. I thought they hit this right on the mark.

The texture and style of the sandal can add the interest, while the colour remains timeless, season after season.

Both sandals pictured above are Lanvin - available through Net-A-Porter.
