The other day, I was a little grumpy after hurrying home to watch a major US Open tennis match, only to find that the coverage had been trumped by another program - weird networking issue. I phoned my mom so that she could fill me in on the match and she tried to lift my spirits by directing me to this album on Martha Stewart Weddings.

She knew I would love the bride's gown (by Oscar de la Renta) and the simple details the couple chose to make their day special. I absolutely love the location, the Fearrington House Country Inn. To classify it as picturesque is an understatement.

In the accompanying article, Libby - the bride - mentions that they skipped the tradition of tossing the bouquet and the couple's first dance because neither of them particularly like to be in the spotlight.
