Workin It

I will be perfectly honest, I have a closet full of clothes.  They are of varying price points and quality, but I have more than enough pieces to get through each season.  Yet, this week, when getting dressed for work, I felt as though I needed something different and fresh.  Here are a few things I scouted (but refrained from splurging on).

Back Again . . .

I took a little break from blogging for a couple of weeks while things were busy with work, but now I'm back. Here are a few cute things I found while surfing the web yesterday!

Smythe Clean Trench Coat available through Shopbop here.

J. Crew Rowboat Dress available here.

Dream jeans!!! I love these, I think I'm going to have to try them. They are the high-riser jean from Madewell, shown here in the eclipse wash.

Camel Coat Craze - Globe and Mail
This Saturday, the fantastic Style section of The Globe and Mail featured camel coats as the craze of the season, which they undoubtedly are. The lovely ladies of Smythe were consulted for the article, and Christie Smythe offered up the tale of when she first fell for the style - it was a Calvin Klein double breasted camel coat for those interested. In any case, I loved that the first coat featured was the Wilfred Cocoon Coat. I posted about that coat here. I think that the photos done by the Globe showcase it even better! What a gorgeous piece.

Fall Freeze . . . Warm Things Please!

Fall Freeze . . . Warm Things Please!
It has been crazy cold for the past two days. The days are crisp but the evenings are just plain chilly. There is no question that in Ontario it's time to break out the warm clothes and jackets. The summer days are behind us for now, but luckily there are some beautiful things available to wrap up in!

I absolutely love Smythe. A wonderful label by Andrea Lenczner and Christie Smythe based in Toronto. Rooting themselves in the area of beautifully tailored jackets, blazers, and coats, they have become very well respected and revered in the fashion world.
