Shop Bop Goodies
This afternoon I was cruising around Shopbop and I found some great things. It is freezing outside here in Ontario, but the sun was shining full force and it got me thinking about Spring and Summer.
I really, really wish all my extra pennies in my piggy bank were enough to buy this beautiful Milly Sailboat Blouse. Ohhhhh how I love it!

Michelle Williams always looks so polished, pretty, and adorable. She wore this dress this week and was noted as the "Look of the Day" on InStyle, although they didn't mention who the dress was by.
It's Spring on Net-a-Porter, and boy did this image get me hook, line, and sinker right away. With the snow outside I find myself longing for tulips, sunshine, and soft colours.

Warm Gray, Cool Gray
When I saw this photo, all I could think about was the Valentino Spring 2011 collection. I was puzzled because I had put the clothing in such a warm light, thinking of the softness of the polka dots and the frilled edges of several pieces. However, the room seems both warm and cool to me. The deep colours and muted tones offer a sleek look and a cold weather feel . . . but you want to curl up in the chair! I don't know why they seem linked to each other in my mind but I'm going with it!

Prima Ballerinas - Chloe Spring 2011
There are some high brow labels that I adore, yet cannot readily afford. A few that top my list are Chloe, Stella McCartney, and Lanvin. However, that doesn't stop me from watching them from season to season and picking out my favourite pieces. At Paris Fashion Week, Chloe showed their Spring 2011 collection, and it seemed to have been strongly influenced by the world of ballet. All the models had their hair in tight, low buns. They all wore very unstructured ballet flats, and there was lots of satin ribbon detailing on many of the garments. I love the grace and elegance of this timeless style. Everything from the nude colours to the hair and shoes was beautiful.
