I hope you've had a wonderful holiday weekend. Canada Day weekend was spent at the cottage and we were lucky to have beautiful weather. I'm glad the 4th of July is similarly sunny and warm for those south of the border. Now that summer is in full swing I am craving casual clothes that are light and easy to move around in. The photo above shows true laid back style, while riding a bike in the summer sun, and comes from thispost of A Cup of Jo.
Love Reese and her beach look - stripes + the red, white, and blue for this American holiday.
I didn't have to go in to work today, so I am sitting in the sun enjoying a good book. I really couldn't ask for a more lovely morning. This photo posted last week on Shelter grabbed my attention right away. I love the outfit and I love her dozy state. Happy Monday!
If you are looking for fashion inspiration look no further than to Blair Eadie and her fabulous fashion blog Atlantic Pacific. I discovered her through a feature on Who What Wear, and I couldn't be happier about it. The best thing about her is that she wears things regardless of price point - often mixing Old Navy, Zara, and Gap with Missoni, Ralph Lauren, and Diane von Furstenberg. Her combinations are so beautiful.
I took a little break from blogging for a couple of weeks while things were busy with work, but now I'm back. Here are a few cute things I found while surfing the web yesterday!
Smythe Clean Trench Coat available through Shopbophere.
The forth issue of Matchbook online magazine is out! There are tons of decor and fashion goodies inside but this photo above is what stuck with me the most :)
The always adorable Alexa Chung in stripes snapped by Vanessa Jackman and discovered on The Neo-Traditionalist. Katie used these shots of Alexa for her charming "Girl Crush" feature.
There is a new Five Days, Five Looks, One Girl on the Vogue website. I really love this feature and think it's interesting to see how personal style can be succinct and yet still offer variety.
Stripes via Lucky Magazine looking so beach chic with the peach pants.
These tulips could be arranged in any manner and they still would be striking, due to their deep colour contrast. Discovered via Frolic!
