"no, not a bed and breakfast, a bakery, yes. not sure i could handle a B&B. if i did open one, and historic one would be great."

"An historic B&B would be my choice, but it's name would depend on its history and location so I can't speculate."

"Since I am not a morning person, I have never thought about owning a bed and breakfast. But I do like staying at one."

"My partner and I have dreamed of owning a B&B many times. Usually after driving past a lovely Queen Anne, or another classic home (must be at least 100 years old for us) with a wrap around porch and lovely garden.

Of course the only place it happens is in our dreams. Maybe one day we'll win the lottery and make it real. "

"Thank you, Jennifer! I'm delighted to hear that you loved THIS OLD HOMICIDE. I really enjoy writing the Fixer-Upper Mysteries, and I hope to continue alternating them with the Bibliophile Mysteries for years to come. Fixer-Upper Mystery 3 is coming later this year, and I just saw the final cover... I'm GIDDY about how much I love it!!! (Though I think the next Bibliophile Mystery cover might be my favorite of all time. RIPPED FROM THE PAGES will be out in June.)"

"That's an interesting idea, Nora! I wonder if there's a way I could search for Victorians that are currently for sale... not to buy them, but just as something fun to share with my readers at www.facebook.com/katecarlislebooks "

"I'm not sure I could handle a B&B since I hate to clean house and I'm not a very good cook. If I did have on I'd want it to be pet friendly so the name would have to reflect that.

"I would love to own a B&B! I don't have a name picked out. But I would probably have the word Mountain as part of the name since I live in the Appalachian Mountains.

"I have not because financially it would not happen. But I would name it Brandywine for the hotel-restaurant I once "dreamed" of owning. It would be a round configuration and modern. Judy"

"I have thought about opening a B&B. I would like one on some land that could support horses, and people could bring their horses and have fun places to trail ride. I would like one that was rustic, like the old west, log house maybe? Bunkhouse-type? I think I would name it The Old Grey Mare B&B"

"No, I wouldn't want to open one, but I could maybe help with things. I could bake muffins in the morning (maybe from a box so it's faster!). I love chocolate and brownies so I have a name for a bakery, Bonkers for Brownies. I came up with that since there are so many cozies with a food/dessert theme. I don't have a name for a B & B. I think I have two of the Bibliophile mysteries."
