Feature: Happy 3rd Birthday to Entangled Publishing!

Entangled is turning 3!

Two years ago this February, Entangled launched our first category imprint with Indulgence and we are celebrating 3 full years of producing awesome books. The Marriage Bargain, one of our first releases in Indulgence, went on to be one of the top selling books of 2012 and catapulted Jennifer Probst to the USA Today and NY Times bestseller lists. Since then, we’ve grown to have six category romance imprints, as well as single title books for teens and adults in our Select, Edge, and Teen imprints, and have had multiple USA Today and NY Times bestsellers. It’s been a wild three years!

We’re celebrating! All month long, our February new releases, as well as select titles on our Steals and Deals page, are just 99 cents!

Yes, you read that right. Every new release will be offered at an introductory price of just 99 cents!

Be sure to join our big Facebook celebration from February 24th-28th with scavenger hunts, authors, games, gossip, and lots of fun!

Explore our new website and prepare to find romance, because we have something for everyone and join our “Steals and Deals” newsletter.

We’re kicking off the month-long celebration with three new Brazens, each with a smoking hot military man front and center and each for just 99 cents!

Tawna Fenske

Marine for Hire
Front and Center

Feature: Happy 3rd Birthday to Entangled Publishing!
She thought she’d sworn off military men for good…

Sam Kercher is every inch a wickedly hot Marine. Tall. Sexy. Lethal. When his best friends call in a favor, Sam is forced to face an entirely new line of duty—playing nanny for their newly divorced sister and her squirming seven-month-old twin boys. If Sam can dissemble an M16 in his sleep, diaper duty should be a cakewalk…right?

Unfortunately, Operation Nanny isn’t quite that simple. Sheridan has sworn off overbearing military men, so Sam must protect her from her dirtbag ex without revealing just how much he has in common with her brothers. Or that he’s been ordered not to touch her. Ever. Problem is, Sheri’s one hell of a gorgeous woman, capable of making this hard-bodied Marine even harder. And Sam wants her bad.

Protect the girl. Care for the babies. Hide his identity. And keep his hands off. But even the most disciplined Marine has weaknesses...and Sheridan is one Sam might not be able to resist.

Staking His Claim
Line of Duty

Feature: Happy 3rd Birthday to Entangled Publishing!
He wants her. All of her.

NYPD sniper Matt Donovan is in Hell. Instead of driving his best friend’s little sister home from college, he’s stuck with her roommate—a fresh-faced ray-of-sunshine with a body that makes grown men weep. There’s no way he’ll allow himself to taint the little vixen, no matter how hard she tries to tempt him, so he resigns himself to the longest—and hardest—drive of his life.

Matt’s obvious attraction suits grad student Lucy Mason just fine. She had no idea her brother’s best friend was so deliciously hot. Knowing he’d never have his wicked way with his buddy’s sister, she lies about her identity and seduces him. But Matt’s no fumbling college boy. His desires run deep—and dark—and he wants to teach Lucy what wicked really means
Matt’s demanding appetites only make Lucy want more. But when her cover's blown, he’s furious—even as his hunger for her becomes insatiable. Matt can’t trust anyone, least of all himself. And he knows all too well that darkness always destroys the light…

Temporarily Yours
Shillings Agency

Feature: Happy 3rd Birthday to Entangled Publishing!
This soldier’s the perfect hoax…if she doesn’t fall for him first.

Stats whiz Kayla Moriarity knows her way around numbers and algorithms. Men, on the other hand, are unsolvable equations. Now Kayla’s en route to her sister’s wedding—without the fictional boyfriend she invented for her family. Fortunately, her plane comes complete with complimentary cocktails and a ridiculously hot ex-marine in the seat beside her. And that’s all it takes for Kayla’s inhibitions to go sailing out the airlock...

Cooper Shillings has soft spot for people in trouble, but he certainly wasn’t expecting to land in it himself—and definitely not while getting naughty mid-air with a sexy southern belle. When he hears Kayla’s predicament, however, he offers his services as a stand-in boyfriend. After all, he’s heading overseas soon...and how could he refuse a little no-strings wickedness?

It’s the perfect plan. And all Kayla has to do is ensure her family falls for the ultimate bluff, without falling for it—and Cooper—in the process...

We appreciate you and want readers to be able to fill up their eReaders all month long with great books at introductory prices. Thank you for an amazing first three years. This is just the beginning.

pamerd who said...

Harry Dresden (Jim Butcher), Alex Craft (Kalayna Price), Arcadia Bell (Jenn Bennett)and Persephone Alcmedi (Linda Robertson) are all fun witches to read. I have not read any K.E Mills witch stories but I am adding them to my TBR list - they look great.

Thanks for the chance

Question:  What's your favorite type of paranormal creature, and why?

Barbara who said...

GREAT interview...LOVE the cover! My fave PN creature is a shifter. I LOVE their sexy bad boy alpha characteristics, their animal magnetism and easy charm...and who could resist the sense of excitement and danger they just seem to naturally generate. YUM!

Winners x 5 - May 20, 2012

Demon's Bride (Hellraisers 2) by Zoë Archer - Ended May 18, 2012 - Read the Guest Blog Here. US/Canada Only.

Winners x 5 - May 20, 2012

Question:  What modern wedding customs do you find strange, or relics of the past?

Leah Weller who said...

I love the blue dress in the picture above but cannot imagine having to wear the cage underneath to make it poof like that. I cannot put a finger on any one thing I think would be a relic of the past outside of the bride having to wear white. I was happy when my daughter chose a darker cream color to get married in. She is getting married the 26th. My ex thought it crazy she wasn't wearing white and when I asked him what was going to happen when she didn't wear white, he couldn't answer. It doesn't matter were she to walk down the isle in black, the love they share is what will make this marriage work. Not the color she chose for one day.

Winners x 5 - May 20, 2012

Serenity/Star Wars FCBD comic signed by Dan Dos Santos - Ended May 19, 2012 - Read the post here.

Question:  Favorite comics? or Favorite Science Fiction TV show or movie or novel?

Rebe who said...

I am soooooo jealous that you got to meet Dan Dos Santos! I love his Mercy Thompson and White Trash Zombie covers. They're too cool!

As for Sci-Fi stuff, I'm a long time closet trekkie. I love Sci-Fi romances - Zoe Archer has a great series that just came out recently. I also like Gini Koch's Kitty Kat series.

Winners x 5 - May 20, 2012

Indigo Springs (Blue Magic 1) by A.M. Dellamonica - Ended May 19, 2012 - Read the Guest Blog here.

Question:  What kind of magic would you like to have?

Paul Weimer who said...

What kind of magic would you like to have?

Oh that's easy, although it's cribbing a bit from Zelazny, but it ties into a mutual interest Alyx and I have--photography.

I would love to have the magical ability to transport myself through a photo that I have made. Somewhat more limited than teleporting, since I would have to have been there before with a camera. I think Magic *should* have limits.

So, yeah

Winners x 5 - May 20, 2012

The winners have been notified and have until 11:59PM US Eastern Time on May 27, 2012 to respond or The Qwillery will very randomly choose a new winner or winners.

Thank you to all!

Interview with Diane Alberts and Giveaway - May 11, 2012

Please welcome Diane Alberts to The Qwillery.

Diane:  Hello, and thanks so much for having me here to talk about Divinely Ruined, the first book in the Divine Temptations Trilogy!

TQ:  My pleasure! What would you say is your most interesting writing quirk?

Diane:  Hm. I absolutely, positively, must have a mug of coffee next to me if I’m writing. Even if I’m just writing blog posts. And yes, I have one next to me right now. But it’s empty. I’ll be right back, I’m going to fix that…

…Okay, I’m back. Next!

TQ:  Who are some of your favorite writers? Who do you feel has influenced your writing?

Diane:  Oh, there’s so many to name! We could be here all day. I’ll stick to recently discovered favorites, okay? Favorites: Rachel Harris, J. Lynn, Jennifer Probst, Robin Bielman, and Annie Seaton. I’ve read all of them in the past month or so, and adored them all!

Influenced: I’m gonna have to go with some authors that I hope, one day, will read one of my books: Christina Dodd, Teresa Medeiros, Johanna Lindsey, Jude Deveraux, and Heather Graham. They are all amazing authors!

TQ:  Are you a plotter or a pantser?

Diane:  I’m traditionally a pantser, all the way…but lately, I’ve dappled in plotting. I’m currently working on the second in the Divine Temptations series, Divinely Ransomed, and I actually plotted. ~insert gasp here~

There is a third book coming in the series, and since I had to make sure it all blended together nicely, I made an outline for the second half of the book. I’ll let you know if I stick to said outline. ;)

TQ:  What is the most challenging thing for you about writing?

Diane:  Making my characters one hundred percent unique, real, and three dimensional. I spend a lot of time obsessing over their traits, reactions, and beliefs. I want the characters to leave a lasting impression, and come across as someone you could know.

TQ:  Describe Divinely Ruined (Divine Temptations Trilogy 1) in 140 characters or less.

Diane:  Aspiring angel tries keep her mouth shut, her hands to herself, and her heart safe-- from her irresistible charge and his adorable daughter.

TQ:  What inspired you to write Divinely Ruined?

Diane:  I got the idea of having a single father, struggling to make ends meet and having a downright shoddy look on life itself, and his adorable girl saved by an angel. The angel, while at first shy and welcoming, blossomed into a cursing, sassy, bigger than life itself angel—with bright red hair.

Rebecca was quite vocal about how she wanted to be portrayed, and I, of course, listened!

TQ:  Who was the easiest character to write and why? Hardest and why?

Diane:  Rebecca would definitely be the easiest. She knew what she wanted to be, and I loved her sense of humor, and her golden heart that was buried beneath a tough exterior wall. I had so much fun learning how she worked and what made her tick.

Miranda has to be the hardest. My editor and I wanted her to come across as real, fresh, and loveable. She’s such a cute little peanut, and she needed to be perfect.

TQ:  Without giving anything away, what is/are your favorite scene(s) in Divinely Ruined?

Diane:  Oooh. The scene in the kitchen, where Tony gives her a new memory to love. I adore the scene for many reasons I won’t go into, since I don’t want to spoil the fun, but I love the tension and heat.

TQ:  What's next?

Diane:  I’m currently working on the second book in the Divine Temptations Trilogy, Divinely Ransomed. It’s got a sword-wielding hero, and a heroine who totes a gun. And, of course, Sally!

TQ:  Thank you for joining us at The Qwillery

Diane:  Thanks so much for having me here, and letting me chat about the Divine Temptations Trilogy, and Divinely Ruined!

Interview with Diane Alberts and Giveaway - May 11, 2012
She finally meets a decent man—after she’s oath-bound never to touch men again!

Rebecca’s life sucked before she became an angel. Crappy apartment, awful jobs, abusive boyfriends–it was no wonder she jumped at the chance to escape it all and become a real live angel. The problem is Rebecca’s not very angelic, and she’ll have to do more to earn her wings than end her love affair with the word f—er, frick.

Especially when she’s assigned to save single father Tony Weis, whose less-than-pure thoughts wreak hell on a telepathic angel’s nerves. It’s all Rebecca can do to keep her hands off him…but when she loses her memory injuring herself to save Tony’s daughter, now it’s Tony’s turn to be her angel and care for her. But will Tony’s devotion tempt her from her angelic path, even if it means being human again?
