PORTLAND, OR, 08/30/2018 — Gotham Academy creators Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl, with colorist MSASSYK and letterer Aditya Bidikar, will release ISOLA, VOL. 1 this October from Image Comics.

An evil spell has been cast on the Queen of Maar, and her Captain of the Guard will do anything to reverse it. Their only hope lies on an island half a world away—a place known in myth as Isola, land of the dead.

This desperate quest is a breathtaking fantasy adventure two decades in the making.

ISOLA, VOL. 1 TP (Diamond code: JUL180153, ISBN: 978-1-5343-0922-7) will be available in comic book stores on Wednesday, October 24th. The final order cutoff for comics retailers is Monday, September 10th.

It will be available in bookstores on Tuesday, October 30th and can be pre-ordered via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Indiebound, and Indigo.

PORTLAND, OR, 05/17/2018 — Image Comics is thrilled to announce that the first and second issues of the new hit fantasy series ISOLA—from acclaimed writer Brenden Fletcher (MOTOR CRUSH, Gotham Academy) and Eisner-winning storyteller and artist Karl Kerschl (Gotham Academy, The Abominable Charles Christopher)—are being rushed back to print in order to meet customer demand.

Queen Olwyn, suffering under the effects of a terrible spell, has fled her kingdom’s capital city with only her loyal Captain of the Royal Guard, Rook, for company—and for protection. With their supplies dwindling and their steps hounded by ruthless hunting clans, Rook leads her queen down a road fraught with peril...but it's a road they must walk if they're to restore Olwyn to the throne.

PORTLAND, OR, 03/07/2018 — Image Comics is pleased to reveal an all-new variant cover of the debut issue of Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl’s ISOLA provided by series artists Kerschl and Msassyk. Each issue of this lush fantasy series will boast a Cover A and a Cover B, featuring art from the series artists.

The kingdom of Maar is in peril. Rook, the captain of the Royal Guard, has fled the capital with Queen Olwyn. Together, they seek the fabled land of the dead, where lies their best hope of restoring the kingdom—and the Queen herself.

PORTLAND, OR, 01/18/2018 — Acclaimed writer Brenden Fletcher (MOTOR CRUSH, Gotham Academy) and Eisner Award-winning storyteller Karl Kerschl (Gotham Academy, The Abominable Charles Christopher) team up with colorist Msassyk (Gotham Academy) and letterer Aditya Bidikar (MOTOR CRUSH) for the lush, breathtaking fantasy ISOLA this April.

The captain of the Royal Guard has fled the capital city with the Queen of Maar, suffering under the effects of an evil spell. Captain Rook’s only hope of returning Queen Olwyn to her throne and saving the kingdom from impending war lies on an island half a world away—a place known in myth as Isola, land of the dead.
