Retro Rack

This is one of my longest running vintage dresses, I have had it for YEARS now, Fashionable Reader. It's dupione so it doesn't travel well. Can you say IRON the bejesus?



Anyhoo, so I don't travel with it often, but look, it's the only one that seriously matched my new cover of Competence, so how could I resist?


So as you can see I popped the silliest knitted cute octopus on my head, some net gloves on my hands, and some super cute peep toes on my footsies and matched!

So I spotted this dress in How to Marry a Millionaire (yes I recognize all the issues with this movie but I can't help but love it, mostly for the clothing). And then it showed up in one of the fashion blogs I follow and I was like, hey is that the SAME dress?

As you can see the fit is not quite the same, perhaps he redesigned it for her and for the screen, or perhaps this is a knock off? Also the sleeves look shorter. I checked the net and couldn't find anything on this dress in this movie.
