And best of all, it's still fun. I am doing exactly what I love doing the most, so this totally rocks. And the fact that I had to wait a whole bunch of decades (never you mind how many, that's none of your business, Mister!) :) just makes this success sweeter... because it was longed for...

Blessings!"
And the timing is perfect. I just finished Thea's story this week, so I'm ready for Jazz's happy ending!
I'm adding some yogurt smoothies to the breakfast bar - your choice of add-in fruits. We're doing some hard-core celebrating today!"
And it's nice to know each book birthday is special! I always get something out of each of your posts and keeping the joy in writing is definitely the thread that runs through all of them and always makes me eager to get back to my work in progress! "
And thank you, I love this series, they were amazing to write and be part of and now I just want to move to Wishing Bridge... with my readers... and we'll walk to the ice cream shop and the new bakery in the General Store and frequent the library! :)
I'm so glad you stopped by today!"
Thank you for blessing me with your kind words, Linda!"
Tucking your name, dear one!"
Guys, I've got the flu
BIG SAD FACE.
I came down sick on Tuesday, so thank heavens I had the blogs all done because it's a dilly.
But I had to stir myself into an upright position to cheer on this book and all o' youse!!!!"
So that was fun! And I'm so glad I did it then because nothing sounds good right now.
But it will in a few days, right? There's always something to look forward to!
"
And when I'm not wheezing and coughing, I'm so ridiculously happy.
God has blessed me 100 fold."
I hope you love it! "
That's a Nora Roberts thing, LOL!
But gosh, I do love it. And now with indie publishing, if I have a story I believe in, I tuck it aside and believe (honestly) that God's timing will tell me where to put it. Trey's story in the Double S cowboy series is a perfect example. I could "see" his story, but I needed to write the other two to get to him. So those were the ones I had to plot and plan to fit into how I saw his story going, and the weirdest things inspire us... I read a wonderful article about Jimmy Wayne and his hard life and I merged that with everything I knew about Trey and then wrote Colt's and Nick's stories to feed into his.
But I had his story in mind for at least four or five years.... and just needed the right spot for it.
You keep going, I was so excited to see your upcoming book, Tanya!!!! GO YOU!!!!! I am so stinkin' proud of you!"
And thank you so much... and no hurry! But I do think you might want to hurry because it's really, really good.
And Jazz is such a cool character to work with!!!!"
I started reading your post this morning and Bingo!, my New York voice popped off in my head, the moment I read this:
"And the fact that I had to wait a whole bunch of decades (never you mind how many, that's none of your business, Mister!) :)"
Imagine me doing a 'double-take' and turning around looking back at you while responding,
"Aye, you tah-ken to me?"
New York, New York, where those from Brooklyn even called their beloved baseball team, 'dem bums'!
I must say I have all three Wishing Bridge books but while I can buy them as fast as you write them, I can't read them that fast!
So I'm reading book three first, (I read the first chapter last night), and I have a real question for you.
"What kind of book is it?"
With indy books it is often not clear in which genre the book fits. With LI and LIS you know instantly what kind of book it is.
I started out thinking the book was a romance but soon found out the heroine was engaged. It looked like she already had her HEA in sight. Then I thought it might be women's fiction but then some man attacks her in the woods. At this point it seems like a suspense novel.
How do I get comfortable in my reading mindset? Will a time-traveler or a vampire appear in chapter II?
Do I have this category-problem because I read from the POV of a writer? Maybe.
But honestly I'd like to see a category reference on the cover of the book. Just look at Debby's LIS Amish book covers. It takes just one second to learn (and even feel) what those books are about.
Just something the think about. Ask marketing boy if I'm not right.
At least, "Finding Peace in Wishing Bridge", has me hooked for now. However with vampires or shapeshifters, maybe not. :)

"
I hope you get feeling better quickly! Hugs, sweet friend!"
Okay, wait, I don't really KNOW glamorous people.
That was a falsehood!!!!:)
"
We all love Maggie Tompkins! "
I can't quite wrap my head around it, Missy!
And thank you, sweet thing. The sale timing is awesome!!!!"
"Yeah." (chews gum slowly.) "Ah'm talkin' to you."
Okay so these are Women's fiction....
And she's not engaged, but her friend Thea is, so maybe that's the confusion there? Jazz is absolutely single....
Although there are two smokin' hot guys who are interested, it seems...
And yet our Jazz is all right making it on her own so far... but I MIGHT PUT A TIME TRAVELER in yours just to make you furrow your brow, dear friend.
And I can't believe you have all three and you're reading them out of order.... I AM GOBSMACKED!!!!!
It's different if you don't have all three, my friend...
But to have all three and read #3 is messing with my New England-Yankee-style sensibilities!!!! I'm not sure what to make of that, you maverick!!!
All that aside, I hope you love it, Vince. I think you will. It's a beautiful story....."
That's my goal!
And I won't feel guilty staying home this weekend.
I'm hunkering down and dosing myself with Tamiflu and Alka Seltzer flu...
We've got this!"
Classic books - definitely Pride and Prejudice - LOVE anything by Jane Austen. Had the opportunity to visit her apartments in Bath one year and at the same time the costume museum was displaying gowns from all the Austen movies!
"
I think I am reading book three first because I have a very large TBR pile and like many men I'm attracted to the shinny new object.
Read 'em while they are fresh.
BTW: I'm so glad you corrected me about Jazz's fiancée! Actually in your text I read it as Jazz having had a string of fiancees! I just got a few letters in the the word in the wrong place while I was reading it. Makes a difference!!!
Here's what you actually wrote:
"Jill looked concerned about Jazz’s finances, and while Jazz wasn’t one to shout her business from the rooftops,"
Wow! I guess this changes Jazz's whole personality. I have to read that first chapter again. (That's what I get for thinking I was reading a romance. I saw what I expected to see!)
Now I'm even more hooked on the story.
Vince
"
Favorite classic movies, huh? Meet Me in St. Louis is one of my top, although I love so many, it's ridiculous."
