Rays of Sunshine in my Sick Week

I was sick with a brutal cold last week. Here are a few things on the web that entertained me in my misery!

This gorgeous wedding in Italy (gasp that Valentino dress) posted on A Cup of Jo.

Erin's blog . . .fashion, decor, honest freak outs, red carpet reviews, and so so much more. I love clicking and reading every single day.

A terrific issue of Matchbook Magazine with Jessie Randall of Loeffler Randall.

The Matchbook Magazine blog The Daily Spark is oh so delightful!

Laid-Back Style

I hope you've had a wonderful holiday weekend. Canada Day weekend was spent at the cottage and we were lucky to have beautiful weather. I'm glad the 4th of July is similarly sunny and warm for those south of the border. Now that summer is in full swing I am craving casual clothes that are light and easy to move around in. The photo above shows true laid back style, while riding a bike in the summer sun, and comes from this post of A Cup of Jo.

Love Reese and her beach look - stripes + the red, white, and blue for this American holiday.

Warm Wishes

Warm Wishes

It's pretty chilly today, so I was in the perfect mood to look through the Anthropologie photo diary of "Wear Now Wool" - the sweater pictured above was my favourite. It's called the Konnichiwa Sweater and is priced at $148 cdn.

Then I happened to float over to A Cup of Jo, and decided to randomly click on archives. As if it was destined, I came to this photo. That is exactly what I want to be wearing right now. How cozy!

Missed Connections

Missed Connections
A Cup of Jo's Joanna Goddard posted about this print quite a while ago, and I must have missed it originally. While bouncing around her blog this morning I found it. Visit Sophie Blackall's Etsy shop and check out more of her charming work!

This is part of her Missed Connections series, which details posts from Craigslist that depict people lamenting missed romantic / social connections. Such a sweet idea. It reminds me of the first episode of the show Dharma and Greg, where the future couple spot each other through the glass of the Subway train window.
