Dreamy Home in London

Dreamy Home in London
This London townhouse featured on Remodelista totally took my breath away.  To say that I have been obsessed with looking at the pictures would be an understatement.  The focus on books in the home is so unapologetically prominent.  The modern aesthetic does not mean a sacrifice of warmth or comfort, as so many modern homes tend to do.  I can see myself living in this space, and it's no secret that my goal is to have a library in my future home one day.  Enjoy!

Minnie Mortimer's Dreamy Home

Oohhh a million thanks have to go out to Julie Richard and her beautiful blog Shelter, without her I would not have seen Minnie Mortimer's beautiful home. The photos are from Vogue but I don't remember ever seeing this house. I am always a sucker for a home with beautiful bookshelves and lots of interesting books filling them! Enjoy.

Amazing!

Things for the Home

Although it wouldn't go with my decor at all, I really like this vintage-ish looking credenza. It's from CB2 and is called Archive. It sort of looks like an old filing cabinet. There's just something about it that I am so drawn to . . . .it must have an X factor.

I might spend a lot more time in my home office if I owned this Tango Office Chair from Structube. It's lovely, and I think the wide arms would boost the comfort level.

A book lover's dream in a funky modern setting, check out the shots of this house on Apartment Therapy!
