Today was a snow day, and a complete school closure day at that. I've accomplished a lot of work and had time for a little bit of play. These things brightened my day today.

La La Lovely is a blog that I've recently started to visit, and this post was just too good to be true. Trina found this amongst a large collection of, her daughter, Ella's schoolwork. Adorable.
The cover art to
Gwyneth Paltrow's cookbook, which comes out in April, was posed on
Style Chronicle and I think it's lovely. It is simple and clean looking, the type reminds me of that which Martha Stewart frequently uses on her cookbooks. Plus the nautical stripe shirt is classic and timeless....much like Gwyneth herself.
