Pantone has named it's color (colour for us Canadians) of the year - Emerald.  Above and below are some colour boards on the Pantone site that really show off the beauty of emerald.  I found a couple of clothes that echo the beauty of 2013's colour.

This coat from J. Crew is so dreamy to me.  I love a good coat, mostly because my mom always loved them and had a range of beautiful and cozy coats for me to snuggle up to when I was little.  The collar on this one really sold me.  Now, if only it wasn't a pricey part of their collection line.

I couldn't help but let my jaw drop when I saw this beautiful lace wedding gown on J. Crew tonight.  I don't have a reason to wear it, but I think it would be a gorgeous choice for anyone who does!

Colbalt blue is my absolute favourite colour.  The love affair began when I bought a dress for my university graduation from Club Monaco in that bright crayola colour.  It is having a surge in the fashion world and Erin of Elements of Style did a post about the trend the other day.  It got me searching for pops of the colour.  Here is what I came up with today...
