One Chloe Bird

New York Magazine has a great little feature online about Gossip Girl fashion. Their blog The Vulture recently posted an article and accompanying slideshow which expressed their love and appreciation for the fantastic outfits that are on display - on the set and later in the episodes. I am not really a fan of the show, watched it a little bit in the first season, mainly for the fashion and then left it behind. However, I am constantly looking at set photos online because the costumes really are drool worthy! Here are a few of my faves!

Eva Mendes always looks fantastic. She really has that sexy, smoldering thing naturally pouring out of her, and wisely tends to favor sweet and elegant, over tight and revealing, in her clothing choices. This past week in Paris she looked flawless with classics - flared indigo pants, a flowy blouse, two tone bag, and tortoiseshell sunglasses. So elegant. Plus, I love that on her trip (to promote a movie) she is sightseeing and taking photos rather than partying. Call me old school, but that scores points with me.

Over the course of the last 3 days, I have moved from my apartment building to a new apartment within a house. It has been exhausting, but more than anything I am completely sick of stuff. After living in the same place for the past two years, I was horrified at my lack of editing, especially due to the fact that I consider myself somewhat clutter-phobic (I have to turn the channel when a commercial for the show Hoarders comes on . . . it makes me nervous).

Therefore, I am not exactly in the shopping mood today. Instead I am dreaming of vacations - especially ones that happen to be in Paris, France. I found this beautiful photo of a flat in Paris via Italian Girl in Georgia. You can check it out on her Etsy shop site.
