One Chloe Bird

Beautiful feature in the July issue of Matchbook magazine entitled New York City Bride.  The following photos are those which I liked the best, but if you check out the link there are a few more looks to see!

I thought that Anne Hathaway's wedding gown was absolutely breathtaking.  I could not resist posting it here, despite the fact that the photos are not of great quality.  Many people have commented on her headpiece, but I think it's beautiful, and I like that she didn't wear a wig and just let the short hair be.  My favourite aspect of the gown is the bodice & neckline.  I love the simple tulle overlay that goes across the bust and caps the shoulders.  Simply lovely.

I couldn't help but let my jaw drop when I saw this beautiful lace wedding gown on J. Crew tonight.  I don't have a reason to wear it, but I think it would be a gorgeous choice for anyone who does!

Despite the fact that I do not have a wedding on the horizon, I love looking at wedding guides.  Why?  Because there is fashion and decor in every guide and magazine.  You can look at flowers, stationary, jewelry, long dresses, short dresses, hairstyles, room decor, colour schemes, etc.  What's not to like?  Today I stumbled upon "One Fine Day" The Wedding Guide on Vogue.com and it was really fun to browse through.  Although, none of the styles were completely my taste, the photos are breathtaking.  There were 6 looks, but I didn't really care for the "rebel" look and therefore it is not included here.  Flip over to the slideshow on their website to see the rings, stationary, bridesmaid dresses, etc are for each style.  Which look is your favourite?
