Telltale's Batman: The Enemy Within Season Finale Premieres March 27 Across All Platforms

The Season Finale of Telltale's Batman: The Enemy Within Premieres March 27 Across All Platforms

Telltale's Batman: The Enemy Within Season Finale Premieres March 27 Across All Platforms

Episode five, 'Same Stitch,' delivers two unique finales (and two
possible Jokers) in a single episode. Decide Gotham's fate in the
acclaimed adventure series from Telltale Games, Warner Bros.
Interactive Entertainment, and DC Entertainment.

Citizens of Gotham City,

Today we are thrilled to share the official release date for the fifth and final episode of Batman: The Enemy Within, the ongoing five-part episodic game series that continues Telltale's unique take on the World's Greatest Detective. Episode five, 'Same Stitch,' launches Tuesday, March 27 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, and mobile. You can download new screenshots and key art by following the links above. The official episode description appears below:

"What would you choose: a friend whose unhinged approach to justice turns your allies against you, or a sworn enemy who will stop at nothing to see you suffer as your city burns? Based on the relationship you've built with John Doe, you'll see one of two very different stories play out. So what'll it be, Bruce: friend...or foe?"

Telltale's Batman: The Enemy Within Season Finale Premieres March 27 Across All Platforms

As the description indicates, the choices players have made over the course of the season will determine which story -- and which version of The Joker -- they'll see in the finale. Same Stitch features two totally separate takes on the fully evolved John Doe: one a ruthless villain that hews closer to the classic Clown Prince of Crime and the other an unpredictable vigilante that's unlike any other portrayal of DC's iconic character.

In total, Same Stitch contains three and a half hours of content spread across two completely distinct storylines that share, at most, only three overlapping scenes. Each of those storylines includes further conditional variations that reflect players' earlier choices and make Same Stitch, mathematically, Telltale's "branchiest" episode ever. With over 4,500 lines of dialogue divided among 38 characters, the overall script for the episode is larger than Christopher Nolan's entire Dark Knight trilogy.

"Without exaggeration, Same Stitch is the most ambitious piece of content Telltale has ever produced," says Season Lead Writer James Windeler. "We had to adjust our usual development process to accommodate the added scope, but it was super important to us to honor players' choices, whether they chose to befriend John or not. We had to deliver on the season's central promise of allowing players to craft their own Joker."

Telltale's Batman: The Enemy Within Season Finale Premieres March 27 Across All Platforms

Rendered to look like a living, breathing comic book, Telltale's vision of Batman features an award-winning cast of talent including Troy Baker, who returns to his dual role as Bruce Wayne and Batman, as well as Anthony Ingruber, who reprises his fresh take on 'John Doe,' better known to fans as The Joker.

A 'Season Pass Disc' for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is currently available at retailers across North America and Europe. The disc includes the first episode of the season, as well as download access to all subsequent episodes as they are released.

Batman: The Enemy Within is a standalone product separate from the first season of Batman - The Telltale Series. Both products are licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and based on DC's iconic character. Episode five, 'Same Stitch,' has been rated 'Mature' by the ESRB.

About Robert Kirkman

Since entering the comics scene with his self-published cult-hit Battle Pope in 2000, the Kentucky native has risen to fame as one of the most successful names in comics and entertainment.

He is the creator of many popular comic books, including the Eisner Award- winning The Walking Dead, long-running Invincible, all-ages Super Dinosaur, and the atmospheric exorcism comic, Outcast. His success and passionate advocacy for creator-owned comics led him to become the first person invited to become a partner at Image Comics since the company's inception twenty-four years ago. In 2010, Robert saw an opportunity to create a transmedia entertainment company that would nurture creators, and give them the resources to create content while retaining creative control of their properties. Partnering with longtime collaborator, and fellow executive producer of The Walking Dead franchise and Outcast, David Alpert, Skybound Entertainment was born.

That same year, Kirkman continued to expand his presence in the entertainment industry, becoming a creator, executive producer and writer on The Walking Dead television show. Kirkman also serves as consulting producer of The Talking Dead, the popular talk show hosted by Chris Hardwick that deep dives into each week's episode of both The Walking Dead and its companion series Fear the Walking Dead. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Returns August 22

Episode three, 'More Than a Feeling,' will be available for download starting August 22, 2017:

After tracing the origin of the Eternity Forge to a mysterious temple, the Guardians encounter an eccentric being who might hold the key to unlocking the relic's true power. But with Gamora and Nebula busy wrestling with the past and Hala still bent on reclaiming the Forge by any means necessary, it falls to Star-Lord to make a crucial decision that could change the fate of the galaxy -- and the Guardians -- forever.

Episode three (of five) is available starting August 22, 2017 for $4.99 USD or equivalent. Individual episodes, and the series as a whole, can be downloaded on PS4 , Xbox One, Windows PC, and Mac, as well as the App Store and Google Play.

The series is also available as a special 'Season Pass Disc' at retailers across North America for an MSRP of $29.99 USD, and at retailers elsewhere across the globe. The special 'Season Pass Disc' includes episode one, 'Tangled Up in Blue,' and grants access to download the subsequent four episodes via online updates as they are released. Additional platforms for release are yet to be announced.

The series will feature a star-studded cast of voice talent, including Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series) as Star-Lord, Emily O'Brien (The Young and the Restless, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor) as Gamora, Nolan North (the Uncharted series, Pretty Little Liars) as Rocket, Brandon Paul Eells (Watch Dogs) as Drax, and Adam Harrington (The Wolf Among Us, League of Legends) as Groot.

The Cast and Characters Return for Five All-New Episodes of the Adventure Game Series Set in the Minecraft Universe

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., and STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 7th, 2017 -- Award-winning developer and publisher of digital entertainment Telltale Games and world-renowned game developer Mojang today announced that Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2 is in development and set to premiere with Episode 1: Hero in Residence for download starting July 11, 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android-based devices.

Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2 continues Jesse's saga in a five-part, narrative-driven, episodic game series developed by Telltale in collaboration with Mojang and members of the Minecraft community. Though players' choices from the first season will carry over into season two, this new season will be accessible to both returning fans and newcomers alike. This second season will also include Telltale's unique multiplayer 'Crowd Play' feature, which allows friends and family to engage with the adventure together by helping to decide the direction of the story from any mobile device with an online connection.

Now that Jesse and the gang have vanquished the Wither Storm, saved the world, and become totally super famous heroes, life has gotten a bit more...complicated. With more responsibilities and less time for adventure, old friendships have started to fade -- at least until Jesse's hand gets stuck in a creepy gauntlet that belongs to an ancient underwater temple. Together with old pals and new comrades alike, Jesse embarks on a brand new journey filled with tough choices, good times, and at least one temperamental llama.

The Guardian said the series "will delight Minecraft veterans young and old alike," while GameSpot called it "a charming, winning adventure for both fans and newbies to the world of Minecraft."

Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2 will be a standalone product separate from both the core Minecraft game and season one of Minecraft: Story Mode. Season two will be available for download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android-based devices. A retail version on disc will become available this fall.
